Golfing in the Philippines

While in the Philippines, my dad and I decided to play the local golf course in the mountains of Puerta Galera.  This place was wild! The 9 hole exceutave course was surrounded by jungle.  We had some little kids caddie for us.  I’m sure I’ll never play a course like this ever again.

A Couple Shots I Got of Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn

Lindsey Vonn made the trip to Loveland earlier this year to train for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. She killed it up in Canada taking home one gold medal in the downhill and one bronze in super g. Below are some of the pics I took. Congrats Lindsey!

A Day with Mr Jeremy Jones & Outside Magazine

Got an email from Jeremy Jones saying he wanted to come to Loveland to ride and film. I got the opportunity to take Jeremy out show him around the mountain. Special thanks to ski patrol for the sled rides, Outside Magazine for doing a video piece on Jeremy and Seth Morrison for hooking this up. SIA 2010 (Denver)

After 37 years in Las Vegas, the SIA Snow Show reported a six-year attendance high for the inaugural Snow Show held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver from January 28-31, 2010. The sold-out Snow Show attracted 18,045 attendees and featured over 3,100 exhibitors representing 845 snow sports brands, including 125 new exhibitors.

Throughout the four-day trade show, numerous television camera crews, photographers and reporters could be seen roaming the Show aisles to report on next season’s hottest fashions, gear and accessories. Snow Show exhibitors were kept busy with appointments and interviews with 875 journalists in-attendance.

Following the Snow Show, a crowd of more than 3,400 snow sports industry representatives including retailers, suppliers, reps and media headed for the mountains for the first international On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest (February 1-2) at Winter Park Resort and Devil’s Thumb Ranch. In conjunction with WWSRA’s Rocky Mountain Demo and CCSSA, the On Snow Demo brought together a total of 230 booths for demoing product during the two-day, industry only event.
